Trisha Wagner, Nathan Hulinsky, Phil Durst, Kristine Ranger, and Jim Versweyveld

Summary

A North Central region ERME-funded project will update the Extension "Becoming the Employer of Choice" curriculum for farm owners and managers looking to improve their leadership skills, with new content and mixed modes of delivery that meets farmers "where they are at." The project combines the expertise of educators in three states (WI, MI, and MN) and their connection to a national network of Extension educators and consultants on the topic. The program will begin implementation with a new delivery mode this year. This presentation will describe the effort to develop cross-state partnerships and initiatives to collaborate based on priority needs and expertise while targeting important issues within the region with the potential for national impact.
