Summary

This session, led by an evaluation specialist from the ERME Digital Center, is aimed at educators and program directors who are involved in program delivery, evaluation, or reporting. The objective of this session is to equip attendees with best practices in program evaluation and reporting, with a focus on agricultural risk management education. The session will use examples specific to this context and will refer to previous ERME RVS reports to highlight common errors and discuss recommendations. The emphasis will be on practical, implementable, and effective evaluation and reporting strategies.

The session will focus on outcomes - understanding, identifying, measuring, and reporting them. This focus on outcomes is crucial for effective program evaluation and is critical to driving program improvements. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to identify, measure, and report program outcomes, implement practical strategies for collecting high-quality evaluation data, and improve their RVS report submissions.

Improved program evaluation will enable educators to understand their programs better, leading to improvements and more effective communication of their impact. In the long run, improved evaluation and reporting will also enable better articulation of ERME's national impact. The session will include a Q&A segment to provide personalized advice to attendees.
