Summary
The purpose of this paper is to provide producers with a process (and a tool) to help them make investment decisions about value-adding opportunities that come their way. It provides an objective approach to evaluate business opportunities and compare different businesses from an investor’s perspective. It also provides a process for potential investors to identify questions for which they have received no answers from the business proponents. But most importantly, this document provides a framework for checking if all questions one has about a potential investment vehicle have been answered.
