Conference Name AgrAbility - Promoting Success for Individuals with Disabilities in Agriculture

Summary

For an individual or farm family a disabling injury or illness usually has significant impact on the operations labor and financial resources. AgrAbility is a USDA CSREES program that provides direct assistance to individuals with disabilities and their families on how to accomodate disabling conditions in the agricultural worksite. This project is an unique partnership between a state Cooperative Extension and a not for profit disability partner. The project is currently funded in 25 states. This poster session would provide conference participant with some case studies of how clients have been assisted by AgrAbility and other project resources. This would help participants gain a greater understanding of the program and how to connect AgrAbility for some of their clients.
