Summary

Annie’s Project Louisiana is part of a national program designed to empower farm and ranch women to manage information systems used in critical decision making processes and to build local networks throughout the state. The target audience is farm and ranch women with a passion for business and involvement in the farm operation.

The first class in Louisiana started this past October in Port Allen, Louisiana and we are conducting 6 classes throughout Louisiana in the next 2 years. The vision for the Annie’s Project is to educate as many farm and ranch women on?the risks of farming as we can and with the help of a state wide advisory committee.
