Including USDA information into Education programs

Summary

USDA Farm Service Agency has developed a new Microloan program that bridges the gap in financing for new, small, organic, backyard and beginning farmers that have not been able to secure financing in the past. The goal of this program is to update educators about the various programs that will fit very successfully in their education programs. The presentation will also discuss other USDA programs that are available for farm producers (high tunnels from NRCS, value added grants from RD, insurance programs).
