This article presents a summary of seven hours of horticultural education conducted entirely in Spanish at the TNLA Lone Star Hort Forum in January 2024. The inaugural session, led by Dr. Manuel Chavarria, focused on cultural practices of turf. This was followed by a presentation from Katerina Graham on Texas Superstar plants, highlighting new additions to the horticultural scene. The third segment, also led by Dr. Chavarria, centered on interpreting pesticide labels for turfgrass management. Raymond DeLaGarza continued with installation techniques in the fourth session and addressed backflow operations in the fifth session. Finally, Katerina Graham concluded with a presentation on prevention and maintenance to avoid problems with gardens and plants. These sessions provided a comprehensive range of horticultural knowledge for event participants who are socially disadvantaged.
