Summary

This publication addresses questions and concerns regarding pesticide risks and explains how risk is evaluated; it directs you to additional sources of information on pesticide toxicity. Data from the Farm Family Exposure Study are reported, showing that farmers and their families who took simple precautions exhibited lower exposure levels than those who did not. Steps to minimize pesticide risks around the farm are emphasized.
