Matthew Gordon and Teryl Roper ( 2008 )

Summary

Food safety management programs, such as Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), share similar strategies across many agricultural commodities. With cranberries being grown and harvested in a relatively unique environment, sections of most standard GAPs are not applicable to farms that produce cranberries. This introductory document will help clarify what GAPs are and how they apply to a farm focused on growing cranberries.
