Summary
We develop economic models of a cow-calf ranch and an alfalfa hay farm that use water for irrigation. Models were built to represent typical cow-calf ranching and alfalfa hay operations in the Humboldt River Region. Parameters chosen through consultation with farmers and ranchers Calculate the economic value of an acre-foot of water not received due to an unanticipated supply reduction
