Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP)
The Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA). The program is designed to offer crop insurance-like protection for areas where a traditional crop insurance policy is not available. NAP differs from Whole-Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP) and Micro Farm policies, which cover a farm’s entire income and not individual crops.
