The Producer’s Guide to Pasture-Based Beef Production is a 45-page joint extension publication between the University of Kentucky and University of Missouri. It is meant to help farmers who are either starting with finishing cattle on pasture, or up through the intermediate level of experience. It covers the same topics that we covered in our presentations: Understanding the market segments, production systems, forages, processing, marketing, and profitability.
