Summary
The course will define risk management and how it applies to farm operations. Time will be spent learning about various risk management tools and how they will apply to individual farm businesses. Risk management tools included are crop insurance programs, whole farm revenue, and the rainfall index. Students will create a risk management plan for various farm operations.
