Summary
This PowerPoint was used with a presentation on Farm Management Teams at the 2022 Vermont Grazing & Livestock Conference. Producers participating in the UVM Farm Management Team (FMT) Program work with their own team of advisors who develop recommendations and potential solutions to address management priorities identified by the farmer. In this conference session attendees were provided with challenges that some of the participating farms have faced and how their management teams supported decisions and changes on those operations. The FMT Program is offered free of charge to Vermont farms through funding provided by a USDA/NIFA/NERME grant.
