Summary

A great deal of attention has been given to short term profitability in agriculture. It has caught the attention of the general public and policymakers as well. A common view is that the current practices are not environmentally sustainable. This poster will report on the results of a study of professional farm managers to determine their attitudes toward conservation. The results will indicate a recognition that long term conservations practices will generate the greatest value. This audience of professional farm managers is underserved by extension programs and growing in popularity.
