Summary

The Confident Conversations curriculum goals are to increase confidence in having difficult conversations about mental wellbeing and other challenging topics with farm audiences. It introduces the ideas of improvisational and appreciative inquiry communication strategies, understanding burnout and outlines ways to identify people's strengths in order to reinforce resilience. Over the last two years, the curriculum was pilot tested with over 150 participants and statistical analysis shows that they increased their confidence and likelihood to take action was significant at the .001 level. This poster will share the details of the curriculum content, pilot test, survey results and how to access the curriculum online for use in local communities.
