Conference Name Demystifying the use of market intelligence

Amy Durand and Laura Kieser

Summary

Stay on top of current markets and world events the easy way, by developing a marketing intelligence plan. By determining metrics to monitor and setting trigger points, the busy educator can make market intelligence as easy as checking your email. This workshop will include the experiences of two former Extension Educators (now working in the Farm Credit System) in tackling the task of examining the global marketplace, cutting through the noise to help make risk management decisions.
In this workshop, we will share what we monitor, how we monitor it, what we do with it, and how we share it with our learners. Also, hear more about our learners and how they implement market intelligence into their risk management decisions. Market intelligence is a great daily mental workout that helps keep educators up-to-date in world events and markets, and include current trends into the formal research-based programs.
