It's Never Too Early for Risk Management: Native Youth Get It!

Summary
Our team has worked with over 400 Native youth through the annual Native Youth in Food & Agriculture Leadership Summit, the Indian Ag Youth Alliance, and regional summits around the country. We can share stories of what we suspected all along: you can never start too early in educating on agricultural risk management! Our poster will showcase our approach and findings from working with this growing segment of young beginning farmers and ranchers. We will also share evaluation comments and progress from Native youth who are now focusing more intently on managing their risk, whether financial, production, marketing, legal or human.
