This project sought to educate new rural landowners and existing agricultural operators while providing resources for future educational efforts by Extension Educators aimed at new landowners. Specifically, we used existing resources related to recreational use, Right-to-Farm laws, fence law, estate planning, landowner liability, agricultural leasing, hunting leases, and legal issues associated with wildlife, livestock, and property insurance to create online learning modules for new rural landowners. Additionally, we held two live, half-day programs across the state to educate landowners who may not learn well online about the most critical issues.
