The Ohio Women in Agriculture Team developed Wednesday Webinars for Women in Agriculture (WWWIA) to support the specialized needs of Ohio female producers as key decision makers and risk managers in on-farm decision-making. ? This program provides a caring, inclusive, and trusting space to meet the distinct learning needs of women through hour-long webinars on the first Wednesday of each month. The monthly webinar format provides an adaptable delivery system that allows participants to obtain knowledge in a manner that is efficient and effective for them.? Topics and speakers are selected based on current and emerging issues and needs, and WWWIA participant feedback. Webinars are promoted via the Ohio WIA Learning Network Facebook page, the Ohio WIA blog, listservs, and other OSU Extension outlets. Each hour-long webinar is hosted on the Zoom platform and is moderated by a WIA team member.? 135 individuals from six states (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, Indiana, and Washington) participated in WWWIA in 2024. Participants represented a variety of ages, farm sizes, and years involved in farming. ? Program impacts and future efforts will be discussed.
