A more In-Depth Review of ARC-Individual

Summary
Due to the increase in the number of prevented planting acres as a result of persistent rainfall across Ohio and other Mid-western states, interest in the individual option of the Agricultural Risk Coverage Program was elevated above original expectations. Significant interest in the program developed throughout the training period and by early 2020- many producers were interested in simplified way to evaluate programs. This presentation was used to train OSU Extension Educators on January 6, 2020 and then subsequently for producers agribusinesses all the way to the enrollment deadline of March 16, 2020. Interest in ARC-IC largely related to 2019 payment calculations as individual yields were known to producers.
