Summary

The genus Hedera belongs to the family Araliaceae, which consists of temperate and tropical trees, shrubs or vines often having aromatic foliage, mostly palmately divided or lobed. Ivy foliage is evergreen and has been widely valued for its cascading and trailing look. Depending on the cultivar, ivies are used as indoor plants in hanging baskets, pots, topiaries, dish gardens; in interiorscape as ground, wall or tree trunk cover. This bulletin addresses registration of cultivars, cultural practices, pest controls, and the ecomomics of comercial production
