Moving toward USDA Inspection: UNR Slaughter Project and Fallon Processing, Inc

Summary
Staci Emm, UNR Extension, Lindsay Chichester, UNR Extension; and Jamie Lee Fallon Processing, Inc. gave an overview of their experiences in getting USDA inspection. Fallon Livestock Processing, Inc. rehabilitated a 50-year-old building and expect to be slaughter and processing under USDA inspection by April. The UNR slaughter trailer has arrived in Nevada and the next step is to prepare the ranch site for the USDA Inspection walk through. See attached Power Point.
