Real Colors as a communication style tool can be extremely effective especially for women engaged in agriculture due to their potential roles on the farm and role within the family and/or farm business structure. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County has a trained Real Colors facilitator and has been implementing the Real Colors tool into their Annie's Project trainings to better equip women engaged in agriculture for tough, or potentially difficult, conversations. This presentation will offer a brief description of the Real Colors tool and how it has been used to help reduce risks by aiding in communication among farm families in Broome County and across NY.
