Developing and Supporting a Turn Key Extension Program: NDSU Extension and the Design Your Succession Plan Program

Summary
North Dakota State University Extension’s Design Your Succession Program meets the succession planning education needs of farm and ranch individuals and families. DYSP is delivered face-to-face by teams of local Extension agents while a statewide team oversees the curriculum, prepares educators, supplies materials, and assists with marketing, administration, and evaluation of the program.
The poster will provide an overview of Design Your Succession Plan Program subject matter; participant and trainer materials; activities; educator preparation; as well as marketing, administration, and evaluation efforts conducted locally and coordinated statewide.
