Interested in holding your own local meat conference in your region to catalyze supply chain connections between farmers, buyers, processors, research, and industry? Consider joining the National Meat Summits team! NC Choices started our first ever local meat supply chain conference in 2011. Now in 2024, that same ERME supported conference has grown to ~650 farms and businesses and we are joined by partners from over half a dozen states coordinating their own regionally specific local meat conferences. Learn how a group of us from across the country got together to form our National Meat Summits group to gain efficiency by leveraging programming, collective impact, and fundraising capacity while maintaining regional autonomy to design the most impactful event for your community. We will discuss how we work and how you can get involved.
