It does matter - more effective adult education

Summary
Most agricultural professionals come to their work with agricultural subject matter expertise. As examples, we are trained in production, processing, management, community development, and marketing topics. We are most comfortable within our expertise. However, for most of us at this Conference our actual focus is highly dependent on effective adult education, and we typically have little training in this area that has such a significant impact on our learners.
This session will review current adult education research, as well as teaching and learning styles. More importantly participants will leave this session with insights and tools to more effective educate their clients as we seek to spread the risk management word.
