Conference Name Rural Women In America - Women Helping Women

Camie Janikowski

Summary

The annual Rural Women in America (RWA) Conference continues to bring a region of rural women together to improve their Human Risk Management skills and network with their peers in rural America.

Two hundred women from southwestern North Dakota, northwestern South Dakota, and southeastern Montana have gathered in Bowman, ND to attend RWA for the past three years. This one-day conference has featured speakers delivering a variety of messages from self-discovery to giving women the skills to strengthen family and professional relationships. RWA also offers many workshop sessions to choose from such as: A Financial Guide for Women, Women’s Health from A to Z, Marriage Communications, All About Insurance, Conservation Planning, Estate Planning, Quick Meals, Fad Diets, and Self Defense.

At RWA women fill their risk management “toolbox” with new communication skills, financial planning tips, home improvement ideas, health screening ideas, production risk management, and a larger network of peers to improve and sustain the viability of our rural families, communities, and region!
